Residential Projects
RCMA has helped
shape the Philadelphia suburbs by designing thousands of
residential building lots and is continuing to add culture to
communities. This on-going process
involves the successful management of a multitude of projects varying in size and complexity. Highlighted below are samples of residential
projects that RCMA is currently managing, or have been recently
completed.
Provident - Philomeno & Salamone - East Norriton Township,
Montgomery County
The Provident Project is a land development
in East Norriton Township that is comprised of 192 Luxury Condominiums
in the new High Rise - 1 Zoning District. This project contains
four main residential buildings with the additional features of a
clubhouse, pool, a gazebo, and decorative central common areas between
buildings with landscaping and gardens. Notable design
characteristics of the project include a replacement of the culvert
crossing Dekalb Pike, and the use of underground storage structures for
the project's storm water detention requirements.
The Village at Wynstone - THP - New Hanover
Township, Montgomery County
The Village at Wynstone is a major
subdivision or essentially a small town consisting of 761 mixed
residential dwelling units along with commercial and municipal
buildings. The project is designed to model a town center theme
with driveway entrances in the rear of the dwellings and the fronts of
homes closer to generous walkways to encourage foot traffic and an urban
feel. The residential units include single family homes,
townhouses, and multi-plex town homes. Design features of this
project include a complex internal road way network, six detention
basins, various additional BMP's i.e. rain gardens, and decorative park
and common areas in the town center.
The Reserve at Holicong - The Cutler Group
- Buckingham Township, Bucks County
The Reserve at Holicong is a cluster
subdivision featuring 60 single family estate homes on comparatively
smaller lots with 50% of the site permanently preserved as open space.
Significant design features on the this include decorative storm water
detention pond, underground recharge beds, and a cluster design layout.
Pickering Glen - Pulte Home
Corporation - Schuykill Township - Chester County
Pickering Glen
is a cluster subdivision of 48 single family estate lots. This
open space friendly subdivision has permanently preserved 72 of the 115
total acres. Significant design features include expansive
wildlife encouraging open space areas, large storm water recharge areas,
infiltration beds, and a decorative center island located in the roadway
at the entrance of the site.
